Pre-School Conversations

O attends pre-school twice a week.
We car-pool with 2 other boys in her class.
I have enjoyed hearing their conversations.
Here are a few of my favorites:

CONVERSATION #1
Pre-schooler A: Today is a special day; it is my birthday; I am 4 years old.
Pre-schooler B: I am 5.
O : Hey, I am 4 too! But, SOON I will be 25 and I won't have to sit in a car seat anymore.

CONVERSATION#2
o : Mom, you are driving fast. (I was going the speed limit, 65)
Preschooler B: My dad drives a RACE CAR, (it's a Mazda), he can go 50 miles an hour!
All the pre-schoolers: Oooooooo!
Pre-schooler A: I WANT to ride in your dad's race car.
Pre-schooler B: Hey guys, hey guys, sometimes my dad wrecks.

CONVERSATION#3
Me: What is your favorite candy?
Pre-schooler B: M&M's
O : Me too.
Pre-schooler A: My favorite is gum. I love to eat gum because it comes out in my poop.

Spring Break and Skinny Dipping

The CFO and I decided that after a long winter we needed to take the C.E.O.'s on a company retreat. We packed up the company car and headed to St. George for Spring Break. We hiked and biked and hung out with our friends. But, the favorite activity that the C.E.O.'s wanted to do non-stop was SWIM. Rain or shine, we were at the hotel pool/hot tub.

One day at the pool C asked, "Dad, what's it called again when you go swimming without your clothes.....Skippin' Dippin' ?" It is now!

We spent a day at Zion's. This is the hike to Angel's Landing.

The CFO took E on the last treacherous 1/2 mile that Angel's Landing is known for.

(They only made it halfway then, thankfully, turned around because E got too freaked out.)

Thanks to http://www.pinchingyourpennies.com/ I have mastered buying cold cereal at a discount. The amount of cereal I have been able to stock pile is, I dare say, pretty impressive. I even think we have a great selection. One kind of cereal is noticeably absent: Honey Nut Cheerios. The CFO points this out all the time and begs me to buy some the next time I go shopping (it is the only "sugar" cereal that is healthy enough for his approval). The problem: Honey Nut Cheerios are hardly, if ever, on sale. (General Mills knows this because Regular Cheerios, MultiGrain Cheerios, Frosted Cheerios are always on sale, but they are crap.) On the off chance HNC goes on sale, the rest of Northern Utah beats me to it and there are never any left. I can't buy cereal at regular price! I won't give General Mills that satisfaction, so we don't have any. Today was our LUCKY DAY.

HELLO!!! The giant size, 25.5 ounce box, of Honey Nut Cheerios went on sale. Regularly priced at $6.49 each these boxes of golden goodness were on sale for $2.99 a box. PLUS, I had a coupon for an extra $2.00 off when I purchased 5 boxes. That means I got each box for $2.59... I saved $19.50! I think my cholesterol dropped 10 points just thinking about it. I know I know, I should have bought more but the shopping cart was really full. I have to go now and hide these from the kids. SHHHH, don't tell them, they can eat the Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes.

Gorgonzola Anyone?

Sorry this post isn't about cheese.

It is about tubing.

The place was called Gorgoza Park, just outside of Park City. I think it is a goofy name for a tubing place--it might as well be called Gorgonzola Park, Gonzaga Park, or even Gonzo Park.

Anyway, my sister talked O and me into going with her and Mei Mei. We had a great time.
