The building behind me is our hotel. We stayed on the 9th floor. After taking this picture, O and I headed back to our hotel room. While we were there, the room started to sway as if we were on Pineview Reservoir. EARTHQUAKE! It lasted for less than a minute and nothing came crashing down, but wow, was it an eery feeling.

I just looked at all three parts of your trip--loved the photos, and glad you had such a great time. A minute long earthquake is pretty long! I was sitting in a chair during one in the Philippines for about 20 seconds--very strange feeling.
What a fun trip. Glad you got the full CA experience with the earthquake and all. Hope to see you soon.
